How it works.

Learn how to have fun on Muzingo. It’s pretty easy!

Getting started with Muzingo is pretty simple. Log onto www.playmuzingo.com on your desktop or mobile device. On the homepage, you’ll have the option of either hosting or joining a game.

Host a Game

Hosting a game means you can start a game session and invite others to join. However, if you wish to play alone, you can equally make that happen.

Login or Create an Account

Click on Host a Game on the homepage. Log into your Muzingo account or Sign up to create one if you do not have one. Once your account is verified, click Host a Game on the dashboard to set up your game.

Select Your Playlist

Pick a playlist from the available playlists for your game, and continue to the next step.

Select Game Access

Choose if you want your game accessible to other Muzingo players or strictly to the people you invite. Click on either Private Game to add players or Public Game to enable active Muzingo players to join your game.

Select Winning Pattern

Muzingo allows you to choose a winning pattern for your game. You can either select 1 Line Anywhere or 2 Lines Anywhere.

Choose Game Mode

As the host, you determine your game mode. Muzingo has two game modes. Easy Mode and Hard Mode. Click on either of them to select your preferred game mode.

Invite Players

If you restrict your game to only the players you add(Step 3), you can invite players by sending them a link or your game code.

To send a link, click Send Link. You can manually copy your game link or directly send it via email or text.
To send a code, click Send Code. Direct players to www.playmuzingo.com/join and have them input your game code to join.

If you make it visible to active Muzingo players, players will join your game from the active game list.

Start Game

Once you're satisfied with your settings and have all your players in the lobby, click Start Game to play.

Join a Game

Joining a game means joining an active Muzingo game. You can join active games in two ways - game code or finding active games.

Join with Game Code

Log onto www.playmuzingo.com/join and enter the game code the host sent you. Enter your name (this will appear in the game lobby) and wait for the host to start the game

Find Active Games

Click on Find Active Games, select your preferred game, enter your name and wait for the host to start the game.

Play a Game

Joining a game means joining an active Muzingo game. You can join active games in two ways - game code or finding active games.

Listen to the song

The host will play a snippet of a song. You have to listen carefully and identify the song title. If you can't hear the host's audio well, you can also turn on your music.

Select a title

Once you have identified the song, select the corresponding tile on your Muzingo game board.

Make a winning combo.

If you get five tiles in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) that correspond with the songs you heard, you become the winner for that round.

Muzingo!

Click on the Muzingo button to check if you have a winning combination.

What’s Muzingo about?

Muzingo is an online game that brings family, friends, and teams together with a fun and interactive game that combines the excitement of bingo with powerful music playlists like 90s songs, country music, gospel medleys, afro beats, Disney soundtracks, hip-hop grooves and more.

How does Muzingo work?

Just like the classic bingo, each player gets a unique card with a bunch of squares. Instead of numbers, the game host plays song clips.

Players simply match the played song clips with the song titles on their game boards. When a player selects 5 tiles in any order (vertical, horizontal, or diagonal), they hit the”Muzingo” button.

If all 5 titles are correct, they win.
