This Privacy Policy describes Muzingo’s policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information about you in connection with your use of Muzingo’s mobile application (the “App”) and desktop web browsers and the website located at https://playmuzingo.com/ (the “Website”).

The terms “we,” “us,” “Muzingo,” and “Play Muzingo,” refers to Warren Ruparelia LLC (DBA-Muzingo.)

When you use Muzingo’s website, mobile application, and other content provided by us (collectively, the “Services”), you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.

We collect your email address, date of birth, and full name to allow you to sign up for a Muzingo account, sign up for our newsletter.
We collect your date of birth to verify that your age is above 18

Muzingo takes reasonable and practicable steps to ensure that your Personal Information held by us is accurate with regard to the purposes for which it is to be used, and is not kept longer than is necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose for which it is to be used

Third-Party Accounts

Muzingo allows you to sign up and log in to the Services using accounts you create with third-party products and services, such as Facebook or Google (collectively, “ThirdParty Accounts”). If you access the Services with Third-Party Accounts we will collect information that you have agreed to make available such as your name, email address, and profile information. This information is collected by the Third-Party Account provider and is provided to Muzingo under their privacy policies. You can generally 3 control the information that we receive from these sources using the privacy controls in your Third-Party Account.

2) How We Use the Information We Collect

The Personal Information we collect, and the practices described above are done in an effort to provide you with the best experience possible, protect you from risks related to improper use and fraud, and help us maintain and improve Muzingo’s mobile application and website. We may use your Personal Information to:

Provide you with Muzingo’s mobile application website and related services. Muzingo uses your Personal Information to provide you with Muzingo’s mobile application and website pursuant to the terms of our Terms of Use.

Comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Muzingo processes your Personal Information as required by applicable laws and regulations.

Protect the security and integrity of our services. Muzingo uses your Personal Information to further enhance the security of the Muzingo’s mobile application and website and its supporting databases.

Provide you with customer support.Muzingo processes your Personal Information anytime that you reach out to our team with issues arising from your use of Muzingo’s mobile application and website.

Optimize and enhance Muzingo’s mobile application and website and future development. Muzingo uses your Personal Information to understand how Muzingo’s mobile application and website are being used to help us improve Muzingo’s mobile application and website and further develop the tool.

Other business purposes. Muzingo may use your information for additional purposes if that purpose is disclosed to you before we collect the information or if we obtain your consent.

3) How We Share the Information We Collect

Muzingo will not share your Personal Information with third parties, except as described below.

Third-Party Service Providers. Muzingo may share your Personal Information with Third-Party Service Providers Third-Party Service Providers for business or commercial purposes. Your Personal Information may be shared so that they can provide us with services, including identity verification, security threat detection, customer support, data analytics, event tracking, push notifications, email marketing, information technology, data processing, network infrastructure, and storage. Research. Any research and analysis done or shared is solely with the intent to better the platform offerings.

Third-Party Partners. Muzingo may partner with some of its Third-Party Service Providers, but Muzingo does not intend on sharing information not related to your interactions with any of our Third-Party Service Providers.

Law Enforcement. Muzingo may be compelled to share your Personal Information with law enforcement, government officials, and regulators.

Corporate Transactions. Muzingo may disclose Personal Information in the event of a proposed or consummated merger, acquisition, reorganization, asset sale, or similar corporate transaction, or in the event of a bankruptcy or dissolution.

Professional Advisors. Muzingo may share your Personal Information with our professional advisors, including legal, accounting, or other consulting services for purposes of audits or to comply with our legal obligations.

Consent. Muzingo may share or disclose your information with your consent.

If Muzingo decides to modify the purpose for which your Personal Information is collected and used, we will amend this Privacy Policy.

4) Information for Nevada Residents

Nevada's law (SB 220) requires website operators to provide a way for Nevada consumers to opt out of the sale of certain information that the website operator may collect about them. Muzingo does not sell your personal information to third parties as defined in Nevada law, and will not do so in the future without providing you with notice and an opportunity to opt-out of such sale as required by law. 5) Information for California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine the Light” law, permits consumers who are California residents, to request and obtain from us once a year, free of charge, information about the categories of personal information (as defined in the Shine the Light law), if any, that we disclosed in the preceding calendar year to third parties for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Our disclosure requirements apply only if we share our consumers’ personal information with third parties for them to directly market their own products to those consumers, instead of assisting us with our own business. Muzingo does not share our consumers’ personal information with third parties for them to directly market their own products to those consumers.

7) Children’s Privacy.

Muzingo’s App, Website, and its Services are intended for general audiences, but is not directed to children under 18. If you are a person under the age of 18, you should not use this App or Website nor provide any personal information to us through this App or Website. This App or Website is intended primarily for U.S. Internet users above the age of 18 who are interested in Muzingo’s services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 and do not intend to collect, store, or transfer any information of persons under the age of 18. If you believe someone a user under the age of 18 is using Muzingo, please immediately contact [email protected] so that we may investigate and delete the content if necessary.

8) Access and Use of Google User Data for SSO

At Muzingo, we provide you with the convenience of using Google's Single Sign-On (SSO) API for a streamlined account creation and login process. By choosing to log in with your Google account, you grant us permission to access your basic profile information from Google, such as your name, email address, and profile picture. This access enables us to create or log you into your account on Muzingo seamlessly, enhancing your experience with our application without the need for additional passwords.

We strictly use the Google user data obtained via the SSO API for the purposes of authenticating your identity and providing you with access to our services. This data is not used for any other purposes, such as advertising or profiling.

Storage of Google User Data Obtained Through SSO

The basic profile information we receive from Google is stored securely on our servers to facilitate your ongoing access to Muzingo. This information is kept for as long as necessary to maintain your account with us or until you decide to delete or modify the data. Our storage practices are designed to ensure the security and integrity of your personal information, employing industry-standard encryption and data protection measures.

Sharing of Google User Data from SSO Muzingo does not share your Google user data obtained via the SSO API with any third parties, except as required to offer the functionalities requested by you or to fulfill legal requirements. When third-party services are involved in providing our services, they are subject to stringent data protection agreements that align with our privacy commitment to you and comply with relevant laws.

Any processing or transfer of your Google user data to third parties is conducted with the highest degree of care, ensuring that your data remains protected according to the standards you expect from us.

Your Rights and Control Over Your Google User Data

Your control over your data is paramount to us. You can manage or revoke Muzingo's access to your Google user data at any time through the security settings in your Google account. Within Muzingo, we also provide you with tools to manage the Google information you have shared with us, including updating or removing it from your account. We are dedicated to upholding your privacy and data protection rights. Security

Muzingo seeks to use reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect your information within our organization from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, and/or destruction. We take reasonable steps to ensure that all data we process is reliable for its intended use, accurate, complete and current to the extent necessary for the purposes for which we use it. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify us of the problem.

Third-Party Websites

Muzingo may share your Personal Information with Third-Party Service Providers for business or commercial purposes. Your Personal Information may be shared so that they can provide us with services, including identity verification, security threat detection, customer support, data analytics, information technology, data processing, network infrastructure, and storage. Muzingo shares your Personal Information with these service providers only so that they can provide us with services, and we prohibit our service providers from using or disclosing your Personal Information for any other purpose.

Retention of Information

We retain information as long as it is necessary to provide the Services to you and others, subject to any legal obligations to further retain such information. Information associated with your account will generally be kept until it is no longer necessary to provide the Services or until your account is deleted. In addition, you can delete some items of information (e.g., profile information) and you can remove individual activities from view on the Services without deleting your account. For example, after you withdraw your consent to Muzingo processing your health-related information, Muzingo will delete all health-related information you upload. Following your deletion of your account, it may take up to 90 days to fully delete your personal information and system logs from our systems. Additionally, we may retain information to comply with the law, prevent fraud, collect fees, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with investigations, enforce the Terms of Service and take other actions permitted by law. The information we retain will be handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information connected to you that is no longer necessary and relevant to provide our Services may be de-identified or aggregated with other non-personal data to provide insights which are commercially valuable to Muzingo, such as statistics of the use of the Services. This information will be de-associated with your name and other identifiers.

Updates to This Privacy Policy

Muzingo may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version of the Privacy Policy will govern our collection, use, and disclosure of information about you and will be located at PRIVACY POLICY

If Muzingo makes material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on our website prior to or on the effective date of the changes. By continuing to access or use the services after those changes become effective, signals that you acknowledge and accept the revised Privacy Policy.
